Dear Epaphras,Picture_2
Tomorrow we have interviews here in Bayonne, France for our nationality…  Yes, in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 9 where Paul says, “He [Paul] became all things to all men, that they might be saved,” we are applying for French citizenship!  No worries, we will still be fully American.  But, the process is fairly subjective and based on a quota system.   So, we ask you to pray for us tomorrow.  Our interviews are individual and 45 minutes long.  We’ve already gathered the necessary paperwork and passed the language exams. Pray that our love for Jesus, the French and France would shine through!  We need the Lord to move.

Here is a quick item to thank God for.  On Monday we took Julia to the Emergency room as her blood was starting to give way – when that happens she becomes “golden” gets tired and has aches and pains.  But, praise be to the Lord, we prayed and she was met right away by her specialist, tests were taken and it was determined a transfusion wasn’t necessary.  She just needed some rest.

Thanks for standing with us in prayer.

Blessings,

Steve, Sara, Annie and Julia
